Vegan Brownie Recipe

I found this recipe online and fell in love, one thing I have really missed as a vegan is BROWNIES I don’t know who doesn’t like a good ol’ brownie. But there are so many vegan recipe alternatives out there for practically any of your favourite dishes. I made these recently and I just had to share it with you I was worried these would be dry and taste bland but wow was I wrong. the brownie itself tastes like a regular brownie (but instead its cruelty free) yet as you bite in the centre has an almost fudgey texture it really is a match made in brownie heaven.

Here’s the recipe for you all hope you can enjoy it as much as I have!

Ingredients-

¾ cup + 1 tbsp all-purpose flour, or strong/bread flour – 3.8oz
¼ cup low-fat cocoa powder (carob powder works too) – 0.7oz
¾ tsp baking powder
2 tbsp desiccated coconut – 0.3oz
1 cup cane sugar – 6.7oz
2 tbsp golden syrup, or maple syrup, or agave syrup – 1.5oz
½ cup non-dairy milk
5 drops of vanilla extract (optional)

Mix all the dry ingredients first and then add the wet ingredients. It is a very simple recipe that can be made in one bowl (which happens to be convenient for washing up because nobody likes washing up)

Makes: 14 Brownies
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes
Oven temperature: 180°C – 355°F
Storage times: Keeps for 3 days in the fridge and it can be warmed up when needed
